Staff changes

We would like to notify parents and carers of staff changes at our nursery.  All future changes will be notified using our news section on the website.

Emily Pitts has had a period of sickness absence and decided to resign from her position, she will not be returning to the nursery.  We wish Emily well in her future career.

Amy McDermottroe has joined Orangutans as a Senior Nursery Practitioner to work with our Toddlers.  Amy spent over 4 years working at a local Nursery.  She is a qualified Level 3 Nursery practitioner and an approved Ofsted child care provider.  Amy is paediatric first aid trained, has obtained an enhanced DBS certificate and has significant safeguarding training.

Chloe Slater also joins us as an Apprentice studying for her Level 2 in Child care.  Chloe will be working with Toddlers alongside Amy.

Lindsey Greensmith is a term time worker and will be returning to work on Monday 7th September.  Lindsey will work with Babies and Toddlers

Katrina Prescott and Jessica Fletcher will continue to care for our babies.

Congratulations to Katie Cowlishaw who has been confirmed as our named Deputy Manager.  She will continue to lead the Baby/Toddler Room and oversee the Preschool Room as well as providing support to the Nursery Manager.

Holly Courts is nearing the end of her 12 month contract as an apprentice, she will continue to work in preschool and we will update you once her contract has come to an end.

Gemma Furniss is a Nursery Practitioner in preschool.

We will look to enhance the preschool team with an experienced preschool practitioner following Michelle Chapmans departure.  We will keep you updated on any future changes to our team.

Emma Blelloch continues to be the Nursery Manager.
